Little History about Pasadena’s unique qualities


In 2010 United States Census Bureau determined that the population of Pasadena California grew to 137,122; making Crown City the 180th largest city in the United States. Pasadena is known for its famous annual Rose Bowl football game and Tournament of Roses Parade. It’s also home of Culinary School of Le Cordon Bleu, California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Fuller Theological Seminary, Art Center College of Design, the Pasadena Playhouse, the Norton Simon Museum of Art and the Pacific Asia Museum.

In 1906 General Wentworth, a Civil War veteran built what’s known today as the Ritz-Carlton, Huntington Hotel & Spa, in 1926 California’s first Olympic size swimming pool was added.
